Everything we do at Kansas City University aims to support and improve student success.
Kansas City has been home to KCU for more than 100 years. As one of five original U.S. colleges of osteopathic medicine, we stand as the oldest medical school in Kansas City and the largest medical school in Missouri. Our state-of-the-art urban campus — within easy reach of downtown and its amenities — allows students to play an outsized role in the health of the community through year-round service learning opportunities.
Kansas City University is proud to partner with Mercy Hospital Joplin and Freeman Health System which make Joplin a medical hub in the South Central United States serving 250,000 people from four states daily. The KCU Farber-McIntire Campus in Joplin, Missouri is home to the College of Osteopathic Medicine-Joplin and the new KCU College of Dental Medicine.
